Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the flat again. This is a new rental, the top half of a family home with its own entrance off the front door. The flat is private and well equipped and the owners are very accommodating. They were happy to provide the couple of items we requested and were extremely helpful with check-in arrangements and great sightseeing advice. There is plenty of room and a lovely deck overlooking the back garden but the ceilings in the main bedroom slope a bit if you're tall. There's access to a shared laundry in the basement. 1The flat is in a residential area easily accessed from the airport either by taxi or the metro. It's within easy walking distance of a couple of markets and take-aways and 5 mins from the beach where you can rent kayaks or take a walk along the shore. Easy access to the metro makes it easy to get into the city proper and there is ample easy parking right outside the apartment. Overall, a great rental. Highly recommended.

Very friendly, flexible and uncomplicated host and a very nice, clean apartment. All sights are within walking distance (1-2km) so we did not even buy a metro ticket, supermarkets and everything else you might need also. The shower is (see pictures) in the bedroom which was quite unusual for us but not a problem. But the bathroom is really small so you should not be too big if you want to be able to close the door ;) There is also a common rooftop on top of the house which is nice to relax and to drink a glass of wine (or 2). We would definately recommend this apartment to friends and family.

The house is wonderful, we reeally love it! Our host was very friendly. We love her too much... she was very kind and help us a lot. This house has very good bedrooms and very confortable beds. We really rest perfectly there. To say something negative or things they can improve .... they were 5 days there and we will love to have at least two big towels and there was not any shampoo or any items to wash glasses etc in the kitchen. But the house as i told vefore was very nice and we really love it with a good location. We will love too much.

The traditional building of Copenhagen offers generous space in the rooms, and a welcoming charm. Just be aware when opening the windows : some might fall on you since it is the original opening system from 19th century, I suppose.

We had a superb visit to Copenhagen and thoroughly enjoyed the owner and her wonderful apartment. Communication with owner via text was convenient and prompt. She is a delightful host. As others have commented (including owner!), the kitchen is due for an upgrade, but it was perfectly equipped for our cooking needs. Despite having a small bathroom, we had no issues with 4 adults sharing the space. The other rooms are exceptionally grand - beautiful, bright with abundant natural light, spacious and wonderfully uncluttered! The beds are very comfortable and the area was super quiet at night - a welcome surprise considering its convenient location so near to the Forum metro station and grocery store, both only 4 minutes walking. The public transportation is excellent so we had no need for a vehicle. We were also able to walk to many sights and attractions. We would heartily recommend this apartment and would definitely choose it for a future stay. Thank you!!

Leiligheten lå i tredje etasje (andre sal) uten heis og trappen var Ikke umiddelbart lett å manøvrere med tunge kofferter. Men dette var av mindre betyding. Vi hadde et perfekt opphold og kommer gjerne tilbake. Anbefales.

This apartment was in a perfect central City location, hidden behind closed gate. And 1/2 block from round tower. Able to walk to all major sites. Fully supplied kitchen. It was nice having luxury of home feel. Close to market to purchase meal supplies. Nicely decorated. Can easily sleep 6. Never heard neighbors. Could hear street noise but it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep (especially when tired from day sightseeing). Have to climb 3 flights of stairs but that was only difficult on incoming and departure day due to luggage. Sandwich shop, Turkish restaurant and coffee house within steps. Many many options in surrounding blocks. Would definitely recommend. Owner very accommodating and and easy to reach for instructions. Only wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Vi har haft en fantastisk ferieuge med familien i Lejligheden på Oscar Pettifords Vej. Lejligheden ligger skønt på Sluseholmen med udsigt til vandet. Der er et fint gårdmiljø med legeplads og havnebad tæt ved. Lejligheden er er rummelig og hyggeligt indrettet, hvilket gør at man hurtigt føler sig i hjemmelige omgivelser. Det er vores oplevelse, at området generelt er roligt, men stadig i rimelig afstand til byen, således man nemt kan opleve ønskede seværdigheder. Der er ligledes natur tæt ved i form af havneløbet, hvor man kan bade, fiske krabber mv., og Amagerfælled på den anden side af vandet, som bl.a. er velegnet til en løbetur. Vi har haft fremragende kommunikation med udlejer, der er enormt gæstfri og bl.a. lod os låne cykler til transport rundt i byen. Vi vil bestemt overveje at leje boligen igen en anden gang og giver den de varmeste anbefalinger.

The location is great and easily accessible. Child friendly and in a queit location. There is a small garden behind and one of the largest parks in Copenhagen is literally a 7 min walk. The owner has been very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was exactly as promised, very clean and absolutely well stocked. It has absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including the big things like bed sheets towels and supplies (dishwasher detergent and washer access) to the small things like tissues, garbage disposal bags, foil, rubber bands etc. Would recommend for couples or a family of four.

This apartment is in a good location and very easy to get to/from airport or downtown in 10-15 minutes by the metro. Once all 4 metro lines go live on Sept 29, 2019, it will be even more convenient. The owner provided excellent directions and met us at the apartment for a walk-thru. There were only 5-6 steps up to the 1st floor unit. The apartment is well furnished with a comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The TV carried a number of channels in English and was easy to use. The host also provided a large number of CD movies and a player guest could use if they wished. But we did not do so ourselves. The owner was the most organized and informative host we have ever experienced. She took the time to give us a lot of useful travel tips which proved to be very good suggestions in the end. She had a whole box of city maps, books and tour information available to guests. There are only 2 restaurants near the apartment. At the owners’s suggestion we tried a take-out place called Hugo’s Pizza 1 block away. To our surprise this was much more than a pizza place. They also offer Greek food and pasta dishes that were absolutely delicious. Large portions and only about $12 per meal. It was a popular place for locals and always packed with people. We liked it so much, we ended up buying food there 3 nights in a row. There is also a Chinese restaurant we wanted to try also a block away but never got the chance since Hugo’s was so good. The bakery along the main street 2 blocks away was the best we tried in Copenhagen. Riding the metro in Copenhagen is expensive at about $4 per ride for 2 zones and $6 for 3-4 zones. We did not buy a 3 day pass since we found ourselves riding the metro only 2 times a day and not the 3-4 times required to break even with the pass. There are 2 wonderful supermarkets a short walk away. There is an Aldi only a block away at the end of the building to the left when you exit to the street. There is also a larger Lidl supermarket about 4 blocks away over by the beach. Beer is very cheap at both stores. We bought several excellent local beers that were less than $.50 can / bottle. A huge improvement over the $5 can/ bottle in Norway’s supermarkets. We highly recommend a 15 minute walk to the beach some evening even if it is too cold for all but the Danes to swim. It was very scenic and full of locals out for a stroll. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would do so again as well as recommend it to our friends. The owner was professional and did an excellent job in managing the apartment and answering our questions. The only negative was the bathroom shower which does not have a separate shower stall. Instead you pull a curtain between the toilet and sink that closes off ½ of the bathroom. But water goes everywhere including spraying the mirror, sink and floor making a mess to clean up. However the bathroom is too small to add a separate shower stall so the host cannot do much to remedy this situation. Otherwise, the apartment was fully functional and a good value.

Would recommend that guests bring eye masks if they are sensitive to light at night because the spotlights outside are on all night and it comes through the mini blinds. My husband and I, we stayed nearly 3 weeks in this appartment and I never had a single moment in which I regretted my choise. The apartment is located in a calm and safe neighborhood, close to the metro station (about 5 min to walk) and bus stops (even closer). Grocery shopping is easy as there are some supermarkets, bakeries etc. close to the place. There are also restaurants and bars in walking distance. For those who wish to bike, there are possibilities for bike renting around the area. The city center is only 2 metro stations or a 10 minutes bus ride away, it takes approximately 15 min with the metro to reach the airport. The apartment itself is in perfect condition, you get exactly what you see on the photos: very clean, new high quality furniture, well equipped kitchen with everything necessary to cook a proper meal, 2 very comfortable beds (each 130 cm large). On top of it, it is supercosy and „hygge“ because the owner and her son provide very nice details like candles, clean and nice looking cushions and clean blankets on the sofa. You even find a selection of books about Danish living and sightseeing in Copenhagen and many flyers with restaurant ideas etc. The owners are very friendly and always available to answer questions and to give advise, if needed. So all in all, this is a perfect place to stay if you wish to explore the city of Copenhagen by day and night! If we have the possibility to come back, we hope that we can book this apartment again.

We had a great stay at the apartment. Everything needed was there and the underground parking is a rarity and a luxury in Copenhagen. Bed and shower were both great! Sofa was just ok. If you have kids who like to watch TV you may prepare them to use an iPad instead. I am a dane living in Canada and would have loved to watch a bit of danish TV however there was not really any channels available. Obviously this did not make my stay any less pleasant and I will most definitely be back.

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment is in accordance with the photos and the description. The apartment is equipped with a typical Danish shower but that did not bother us. If we had to report an improvement, it would be the hobs that are not practical. The apartment is well equipped, quiet and welcoming. The bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. There is nothing negative, the owner was very helpful, welcoming and well advised. The apartment is close to shops and bus lines to connect the city center in 15 minutes, it is close to the airport and the metro. Five star apartment for the price. Very friendly and helpful host. He provided a lot of information about the locality, guide maps and basic food items such as juice, cereals and fruit which was much appreciated. I would like to thank the owner for being so flexible with check in and out times (morning check in and evening check out). Excellent location in Vesterbro with shops and cafes nearby. Spacious rooms and good internet connection. We enjoyed our stay. The only drawback is the tiny bathroom, slow filling toilet and lack of proper shower which can be upgraded with minimal expense.

Apartment in a small typical Copenhagen house above a squash shop, very well located, spacious and very quiet, ideal for a couple plus 2 other people.There are shops nearby.Possibility to leave your suitcases on the last day at the squash store. One downside, the owner reminded me three times by email that you must pay the balance of the rental as soon as possible.I did not find that very polite.

Such a lovely apartment in a proper old Copenhagen house with stairs and mysterious doors in every corner. It felt very personal and welcoming. Danish character, but also very individual. The owner is a professional artist and her colourful, optimistic prints and paintings were everywhere. The beds were comfortable, the rooms bright and ‘hykkelig’ - it really felt like home from home. My grandmother used to live not far from the apartment so for me it had a special feeling because things like the layout, and the kitchen reminded me of many childhood summers I spent there. Everything was easy to find and use. The owner was warm, smiley and friendly, and looked like one of her paintings come to life. It’s bang in the centre of town, near Norreport station which has trains that go everywhere running from it. Loads of museums, shops, restaurants and everything you want within walking distance. It is the centre of town so there is the sound of people in the street now and again, but it’s mostly pedestrianised around there so very few cars and generally quiet and peaceful, especially for the middle of a capital city. You could not ask for a better position to be honest. For us it was perfect.

We really appreciated our apartment in Copenhagen . It was all we had been led to expect. We met the owner, not long after our arrival and found him extremely likeable and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many of the places we intended to visit. The house, a converted stable, is comfortable and very modern, yet with all the character one would expect, given its history. If we were visiting Copenhagen again in the future, I would not hesitate to contact you again.

What a fantastic apartment in the best part of town. Although its location is in a very busy area off the harbour, because it is off an internal courtyard it is extremely quiet and peaceful. The owner and her son were a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. The apartment has everything you could possibly need with a fully equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay here again any time.

Leiligheten har super beliggenhet i rolig strøk uten trafikkstøy og med sykkelutleie flere steder i nabolaget. Perfekt for å sykle rundt og se byens severdigheter eller turer i park og til strand (og til shoppingsenteret Fisketorvet og matbutikker i nærheten). Leiligheten er perfekt for et voksent par eller voksen med et par småbarn. Bakhagen er flott idyll kun tilgjengelig fra bygårdene som omgir den. Der kan du ta med ut måltider, slappe av i skyggen av et tre med en bok eller la barna leke trygt i lekeapparater. Sønder Boulevard innbyr med gatetun og kaféer.
