Perfect location. We had an all too brief stay at lovely apartment in Vesterbrogade. Just a short walk to the city centre, and with shops and restaurants all around, it was ideal. Central yet quiet. Owner was very welcoming and friendly, and tolerant of our rush as we made our way to an event in the city. Wed hope to come back one day and see a bit more of this special city.

Perfect location, wonderful owner, fabulous apartment!. My friend and I stayed here for a week during the run up to the eurovision song contest. Unlike many other places, Owner had kept her prices at the standard rate rather than hiking them up for the occasion, making this great value accommodation. Owner was wonderfully helpful and welcoming both by email before our stay and when we met her on arrival. The location is fantastic. It is just over the road from the metro station making the trip to and from the airport ridiculously quick and easy. A very straightforward 15 minute walk will put you in the centre of town meaning that you dont actually need to use public transport that often. There are several supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk of the apartment meaning youll be spoilt for choice. Christiania and the church of our savour are just a couple of streets away meaning that some of Copenhagens key tourist spots are right on your doorstep. The apartment is quirky and anything but ordinary. It is well equipped with just about anything you might need including dvd player, ipod dock, hairdryer etc. The bed is even adjustable via a remote control for added comfort! A huge array of towels, dish cloths etc are provided along with bed linen. The kitchen has just about everything you could ever need. The only slight letdown is the small electric toaster oven in the absence of a full size fitted oven. However we managed to cook 2 meals each day and didnt find it to be a problem. The kitchen is also stocked with basic food items and all cleaning products etc making self catering an absolute breeze. The apartments only real weakness is the bathroom. The Bath is very high up so requires a certain amount of mountaineering to get in and out of! Theres also no sink in there meaning you have to use the one in the kitchen. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment, and should I go back to Copenhagen, I would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location; plenty of room; comfortable.. It was a great location; street was loud, but from the back bedroom, it was fine. Noise didnt bother our adult children. Kitchen was very sparcely supplied, but it was fine for breakfast and lunch. Loved having a front living room separate from the main room where our adult boys slept. That gave us some space. Shower was small but perfectly fine. We were very comfortable, and Owner was very helpful. LOVED our stay!

Stylish apartment in a great location. 5 of us had a great stay at this stylish and very clean apartment. Comfy beds and cozy. We were here for Eurovision 2014. We loved the area Norrebro the apartment is in. Had great cafes and vintage shops, and some really friendly local people! - close to Norreport station (10-15min walk) and had great vegetarian breakfast at Har bo on blagardsgade - I think it was called, about 5 mins away. Love the organisation of the space in the shower room/wet room - has given me some ideas for my small bathroom at home. The wifi and apple tv box was really handy for us catching up with Eurovision news off our ipads onto the telly - we all want one now! Owner was a delight to deal with, really helpful, and everything went smoothly and as expected.

Enjoying Life in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, we only could stay for two nights in Copenhagen, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The apartment is centrally located bordering the pedestrian zone. Its very spacious for two people and has a fully equipped kitchen. Given our short stay we didnt do any cooking, but we had delicious breakfasts both morning with goodies from the nearby bakery and grocery store. One almost doesnt have to leave the apartment - just open the windows - to enjoy the cheerful atmosphere of the city. Its a bit noisy at night and the bells of the adjacent church can serve as alarm clock in the morning - but thats a small price to pay for being able to stay in the center of town - within short walking distance to all the major attractions. Check-in and check-out was very convenient and the owners were generous to fully accommodate our travel schedule.

Nice apartment, neighborhood and great hosts.. Five of us stayed comfortably in this newly renovated apartment in a beautiful area of Østerbro in Copenhagen. A couple of grocery stores are nearby, which is good if you want to cook to save money. Also near to bus stops that take you to the city center. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

I wish I could still be there. The neighborhood is clean and safe. There are many things to do within a short walk. You can even walk to downtown Copenhagen with lots to see on the way. The nearby train and public transportation is dependable and will take you wherever you want to go. The apartment is clean and cozy, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. There are good views of the street due to the corner location. Grocery stores are close by as well as shops for a quick pizza or bite to eat. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Apartment. The apartment was in the centre of Copenhagen city. We could walk to most of the attractions from the apartment. The apartment itself had everything, absolutely everything that one needs on a holiday. Our host, explained where everything was and how everything worked. The instruction book left for all guests was invaluable. There is a church next door,and we found the music being played just added to the serenity of the apartment and area of the apartment. We would go out for sightseeing, and you came back to a welcoming and warm apartment. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone....you wont be disappointed.

Great location. This is a lovely location, right on a channel. From the living room window we could watch the tourist boats go by. It is a 5 minute walk to the Christianshaven Metro stop. It is within walking distance (about 20 minutes) to Trivoli Gardens and the National Museum. Also you are near the Havenbus stop that takes you up to the major tourist sites further away. We didnt meet our host, but she was very good about communicating with us beforehand and arranged to have someone meet us at the apartment to provide the key. It has everything you need for a longer stay. Since Copenhagen is so expensive, it was nice to a kitchen to fix breakfast. There is a fabulous bakery, green grocer and small grocery store (and 7-11) by the Metro stop. There is a wonderful restaurant on a barge just below the bridge on Torvegade. If you have never rented an apartment, be aware that owners possessions are still in the apartment but she has made room in the closet for your clothes. The bathroom was tiny but it was quite spacious. My only complaint was that we had to make the bed and were expected to clean the apartment but we were only there for 3 days so it didnt get very dirty.

Good Apartment, Good Location, Good Deal. We stayed for four nights this May. The facilities were excellent, exactly as described. We took a taxi for 90DKr from the airport because we had had a long overnight flight. But we could have taken the 5A bus for 30DKr to within a block of the apartment. Hint: buy a "2zoner Kippelkort" ticket from a vending machine at the airport for 150DKr. It is good for ten rides between one or two zones. That is a savings compared to single rides for 24DKr. You can pay for more than one person on the same card. Unexpected bonus: The owner let us use two bicycles stored in the basement. I used one for grocery shopping at the more distant store. They would have been great for sightseeing except that my wife does not ride a bike.

Great apartment, excellent loacation.. We stayed at apartment in June and it had everything we needed for a short stay, Owner was there to meet us and was always available if there were any problems. Thankfully we had no need to contact her, the apartment is on the top floor but has a lift there was no noise at night and had everything we needed. The location is perfect as its a short walk into the city, you can get a bus...the 6a however its a nice walk into town and only takes 10-15 minutes to Tivoli World, going the other way you can easily walk to the Carlsberg brewery and take the tour. Would recommend the apartment to anyone wishing to visit this great city.

Nicest apartment ever!. Me and four close friends came to Copenhagen to celebrate a birthday and found this apartment - that looked really nice on the photos. However, it was even nicer in real life. And huge! It was actually the nicest apartment Ive ever set foot in. Beatiful, spacious and luxurious. And the balcony was amazing. The host was very helpful and gave us tips about nice restaurants to visit and what to do nearby and the location was absolutely perfect. We will definitely try to rent this apartment next time we get back to Copenhagen. Thanks a lot!

Large, bright apartments in Copenhagen near the Metro. Large, bright apartments in Copenhagen near subway for 5-6 people with big, beautiful dining area and comfortable living room. The apartment is one large bedroom and two slightly smaller. The kitchen is fully equipped for the full possibility to prepare Breakfast or lunch or dinner. Large dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and other kitchen accessories, works everywhere in high quality and fast Internet access (WiFi). In the living room and the big bedroom, large TV with HD channels. Metro station is a Forum just 300 m To the airport and the journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The city centre can be reached on foot in 10-15 minutes. The nearest supermarket is next to the metro Forum, those very close. The only minus is one bathroom in the morning they have to wait-))). Overall we are very satisfied with these apartments. Owner of the apartments have prepared for the guests list of interesting places that you can visit in Copenhagen, indicating their location on the map, which was also applied to the description. In addition owner of the apartments are always ready to assist guests in all matters related to the stay in Copenhagen.

stylish but relaxed house and garden within easy reach of the city center. We received a friendly welcome from host who showed us everything and explained the details. We then had the house to ourselves and enjoyed the luxury of so much space in a holiday accomodation. The house has many personal things around that made us feel like we were staying at a friends place. We had full kitchen and bathroom facilities and the only thing we missed was a hairdryer (we will remember to bring one next time!). We used both bedrooms and found the mattress support on the small bed was a bit slanted. But having the use of the lovely wild garden and being able to open the patio doors and have the sun stream in at breakfast time certainly made up for that.

Great apartment and location away from downtown but still very close. The location of the apartment is perfect -- on the metro line, walking distance to the "core" of downtown, with great views (the church is wonderful), but not in the middle of a crazy neighborhood. I loved sitting on the window seat with the canal and the church spire out the window. The apartment itself is excellent -- a big and functional kitchen, a small but serviceable bathroom and shower, a sunny living room, and a bedroom was a very comfortable bed. Owner was very helpful and everything went smoothly throughout. Id happily stay here again.

Such a fantastic location, Will return :). We wanted to be central and reduce the cost of eating out which we could do with ease in this fantastic apartment. Only 6mins walk from a cheap Netto supermarket which meant we could then cooked meals for a couple of days for just £40. The Metro is also only 8 to 10 mins away and boats tours about the same. There is a Ironing board and Hair dryer and even a new washing machine. The lady who meets you on arrival was so helpful and dealt with our late flight. Also the beds can be made into a double or singles, whatever you need. Tivoli gardens is only 10 to 12 mins walk and the main station is next to it.

cosy home from home. I throughly enjoyed my stay at the apartment. Host and her husband are lovely and went the extra distance to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The apartment is very sweet and suited my needs with all the amenities I needed for my three month stay. The apartment is close to the beach, airport, metro and with the bus stop, corner shop, supermarket and post office a stones throw away, it is an ideal quiet location. The apartment is on the fifth floor and there is no lift so it may be difficult for people with walking difficulties, but for me it did me the power of good as I was able to shift a few pounds and increase my fitness level. The view from the skylight window over Copenhagen was beautiful. The experience was memorable for the kindness of Host and her husband who were always at hand for any information you may need.

Lovely apartment in a lovely city.. I recently stayed in this apartment in Amager. Owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. The apartment was extremely well equipped, with plenty of storage space and a decent range of knives, saucepans and so on. I frequently stay away in small self catering apartments and have never stayed in one as well equipped. The apartment is immaculate and the area quiet. It is worth noting that the Danes generally do not do black out blinds, so if visiting in the light months, it is worth taking a set of portable blinds with you. The windows are a normal sort of size, so they should fit OK. I hesitate to recommend this apartment since I intend to stay in it again - I frequently have to come to CPH, and would like to stay here everytime......

cute, cosy, close to everything. this studio looked exactly like it was described on the website, so no bad surprises. there was toilet paper, blankets, towels, milk, water, spices, coffee and everything you would need. the studio is on the last floor, without elevator, but whats stairs when you can enjoy such a spendid view! the owner was nice, understanding (the flight got delayed and we arrived later then expected, after the deadline time - 22:00). we could leave our stuff at her place after checking out to be able to enjoy the rest of the day without all our bags. the communication with her before the trip was excellent. not only the directions she gave were absolutely clear, but she gave us a lot of useful advices, and addresses to visit which made our stay much more aware of "local" stuff. nothing negative to say, i enjoyed this place!

A very nice and comfortable appartment. We stayed 5 days in the appartment (one adult and two teenagers) and it was very comfortable and nice. Bus connections were very close and direct to city centre and metro station to airport in 15 minutes of nice walk. We had also a good supermarket round the corner. Also in walk distance to the zoo and the beautiful Fredreiksberg park.

Lovely apartment in a very nice area within easy walking distance of most of Copenhagen. This is a lovely spacious apartment within easy walking distance of most of Copenhagen.About 15 minutes walk to the centre. It is situated in a fairly quiet and clean residential area with a beautiful children friendly park across the road.Travel from the airport is easy with a direct train to Oesterport station which is only a few minutes walk away.There are Supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance.This is the familys own home so expect to find a lot of personal belongings around.This means that there is no cupboard space to store your own belongings although there are a lot of coat hangers and hanging space just as you enter the apartment.The owners are very friendly and welcoming and you are able to use most of what you find in the kitchen and bathroom.They do ask that you leave the apartment clean and tidy when you leave.

Modern, superbly located Copenhagen Apartment. A superbly equipped, super-modern apartment right in the heart of Nyhavn, located in a private, quiet courtyard 50 metres from the heart of the restaurant area. We were greeted by the owners son who was both charming and very helpful. Access to local supermerket, banks and tourist attractions is what makes this apartment so convenient for visitors. We have no hesitaion in recommending this apartment.

A Place With Class. A wonderful rental with lots of space to spread out. Within walking distance to the metro and beach. You couldnt ask for a nicer rental. The beds were very comfortable. Brilliant apartment, Service and location. We stayed at this apartment with 4 adults and a baby and the flat set up is great. Everything has been considered and is provided from ironing board to vacuum cleaner. There are several supermarkets, a laundrette, take away places and public transport in easy walking distance. Management of this apartment is outstandingly friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay

Excellent neighborhood, fully equiped kitchen, perfect for one person!. I am very pleased with having rented this apartment. Out of the many many choices I had, I picked this one and I am very happy I did. I had the best time there: quiet to sleep, nice, airy and sunny for the day, very close to the train stop, supermarket around the corner, gym next door... all I could ask for. The apartment is the perfect size and actually bigger than I imagined from the photos. The kitchen has everything one needs. WiFi is good and quick, included. When I am next in Copenhagen, I hope they have availability, because I would like to stay there again. The only negative thing I would like to point out for those travelling with heavy luggage like I was, is that there is no elevator, so you have to carry all your bags up 2 flies of stairs. Apart from that, everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you. PS: I would also have liked to have the choice of paying someone to clean the apt on the last day.

Couldnt ask for anything more!. This apartment was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the major shopping streets, close to a metro station and supermarkets. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the luxurious apartment has every modcon and kitchen appliance we needed for our stay. The owners were generous with their time helping us get settled and showing us around the apartment and where banks, supermarkets etc were located. The owners made themselves available if there were any problems - but we didnt have a single one. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Great apartment!. Perfect location - the heart of the city. Around there are many shops, restaurants and cafes. In just a few minutes walk from the market Torvehallerne. Bright, cosy and design appartment. We really enjoyed our stay in this appartment, we felt at home. All the utilities were available (modern equipment, design/cosy furniture, tastefully decorated). Easy to park the stroller and our bikes, lots of nice toys. An elevator would be nice, however stairs have their charms too. A playground in the yard (surrounded by the buildings), which can be supervised from the balcony. Nice neighbourhood: family friendly with lots of playgrounds, fun to bike around, supermarkets at the corner, friendly neighbours, ideal to wander around in the city.

Great location...lovely apartment. We stayed here for four nights at the end of July. The location is great - its a very short walk from the metro which links directly to the airport. It is in walking distance to the city centre in about 10minutes. The apartment is surrounded by lots of nice restaurants and cafes and bars. The water front is particularly enjoyable to sit out on a hot summers day. Other reviews have mentioned the size of the bathroom...it is small but served us perfectly well during our stay and was no problem at all. The four days we stayed were particularly hot so we would have made use of air con had it been available. Charming place, could not wish for more. Cozy flat in the middle of everything, walking distance to subway - 6 min, groceries & restaurants & bakeries 1-2 min walk, shopping and entertainment right around the corner 2 min; 20 min walk to Tivoli Gardens or Round Tower. Very clean and quaint place in a historic building, equipped with everything you need. My son slept on an air mattress which was very comfortable even for an adult and the two individual beds were very comfortable as well. I do not have enough good things to say about our stay at the apartment. Owner welcomed us and we felt instantly at home, it was like visiting your favorite auntie. We were arriving very late and she was kind enough to buy few grocery staples for us to have handy, including some local favorites which we otherwise would not be exposed to. I highly recommend this place.

Well situated, modern and well equipped appartment. Situated within a 10 minute walk from two metro stations and just 3 minutes from a grocery store, this appartment is ideal for visiting Copenhaguen. I was travelling with my boyfriend and another couple and our stay was very, very pleasant. The neighbourhood is very quiet and calm, there are green areas just outside the appartment and there are almost no cars. We rented bikes, so we didnt use the metro, but the metro stops are really close to the appartment, and the city center is very close too. The harbour and the canal, where the people from Copenhaguen bathe, are about 15 minutes walk. Ideal for visitng the city. The appartment in itself is super nice and very modern! There are two separate rooms and one big living room; while the kitchen is also very nice and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is very nice and well decorated. There are also two terraces (a smaller one and a bigger one) where you can have a nice barbeque like we did, :)

We very much enjoyed our stay here, though as we were visiting friends in Copenhagen we did not use the apartment much except for sleeping and breakfast. Very central and convenient. Very minor downside is that it is about as far as it could be from stations/bus stops, being about the same distance from three different ones ... but still not very far (way less than 10 mins walk) We understand that owner is selling the apartment at the end of this month ~ I dont know if the new owner will still be renting it out or not.

Bright friendly apartment in great lively canal-side location of Copenhagen.. My wife and I loved this characterful, bright, well-equipped apartment overlooking the Christianshavn Canal with restaurants, cafes and shops close by, plus only two minutes walk to Metro, bus and water bus. It is an ideal traditional location to enjoy both the lively local atmosphere and the whole of Copenhagen and beyond. The city centre, including Tivoli, is easily walkable from here to enjoy the sights and beautiful architecture but the transport system is also really user friendly. A Copenhagen Card will get you onto all the transport and into almost any of the main attractions including the wonderful Tivoli.

Very comfortable apartment in amazing central yet picuresque location by the canals.. We felt instantly at home as the apartment was very much as we had expected.A big plus is the large bed with space on both sides to walk around which can be quite rare in many Danish apartments. The kitchen is bright,spacious and well equiped with a dishwasher. There is a cafe/restaurant just across the road and of course you can see the canal from the living room. The metro was really close and the buses were just around the corner. You can walk however to many places from the apartment and there is much to explore on the doorstep;2 minutes down the road is the beautiful old clock tower of Vor Frie Kirke and well worth the 400 step climb for the views if you are up to it!! Also close by is the Wold or ancient fortifications where you can walk around the old military ramparts surrounding a lake, passing a windmill which is now a restaurant . Christiana can also be reached on this route or simply just by going to the bottom of the street. Although the transport system in Denmark is very good, Copenhagen is very accessible by walking or cycling. We were able to access many of the main attractions by walking, eg Nyhavn, the Royal palace, little mermaid, Tivoli gardens and the 20 minute walk to the main shopping areas. The city is under huge construction at the moment with the building of new roads and metros which did lead to some disruption of transport but it will be amazing once completed. We were pleasantly surprised to find that eating out and buying food were not as expensive as anticipated as there are many cheaper options. We did not have a bad meal during the whole of our 10 days. Highlights for us included, the free 1.5 hr trip on the tall ships which were part of the harbour culture festival which takes place in August every year and also we highly recommend a visit to the 17th century fishing village of Dragor,a 40 min bus ride from our apartment. Harbour buses run frequently around the canals and are a great way of seeing the city. We purchased a 5 day Copenhagen card which eases the stress of working out the various transport systems and it allowed us to travel as far as Elsinor in the north, handy for Louisiana etc. We also visited the Queens summer residence at Fredrensborg ( we did have to pay for the guided tour). The card however gives free access to most of the main attractions. Copenhagen is a beautiful city and feels very safe walking around, even late at night although like any major city one has to be vigilant. We found the Danish people to be generally helpful and friendly. Finally , if you want to explore a little off the beaten track, there is a book called Secret Copenhagen which gives great tips on places to visit and things to see that a tourist or a Dane might not normally be aware off. We cant wait to return to see more of Denmark and would not hesitate to recommend the apartment.

All that and more!. Fantastic apartment! We are six friends in our 20s who stayed here for a few days, it was everything we needed and more! Great location (opposite the best bakery ever), lots of space, comfy beds and it was clean and tidy. The owner was punctual, friendly and informative on arrival. Would definitely recommend! Some of us were in wheelchairs, just FYI there are a few stairs internally but these were easily managed with someone to assist. Bathroom is accessible. Kitchen and entertaining areas are a treat!

Amazing Apartment - perfect for children and location is brilliant!. Firstly, the service and kindness of the owners of the apartment was amazing. They were very courteous & helpful and went far and beyond to help us with our queries. The apartment itself is clean, neat and very functional. It has a full use kitchen, with many "extras" (toasters, kitchen aide etc) and although i didnt spend much time in the kitchen, this was lovely to have! The bedding was very comfortable and clean. There was extra technology like surround sound, massive TV, toys for the kids, a computer to be used. The apartment is located in a compound lot and on a main road but we hardly heard any noise. The best part is that across the road from the apartment there is a MASSIVE park and this was brilliant to have. Buses run every 5-10 minutes also outside sour apartment. Lots of cafes around, and a supermarket is 1 minute away. Tiny hassle with the construction happening around the area at the moment, but it can not be helped. Also, laundry facility is locate din basement (not in actual apartment) so bear in mind trips downstairs to wash and dry clothes. Overall, highly, highly recommended. Would love to go back!

Perfect central location, calm and bright apartment with a nice view. Staying for 3 nights, it was a great apartment to come home to after a full day around the city. The owner was very nice, making us feel welcome in her winter home. The apartment was very neat and well furnished and equipped. Being in an old building, it has plenty of atmosphere. Two single beds instead of a double one might not be optimal for everyone, but I suppose they could be made into a double one with some effort. Also the lack of elevator (3rd floor) might be a challenge for somebody less mobile, but didnt bother us. We did some home cooking and the kitchen is well equipped for that. We got our groceries at Illums (5 min walk) as well as at Torvehallarne (the new food market close to Norreport some 15-20 min walk) which might not be the cheapest way to go, but offering excellent quality. We had smorrebrod at one stall at Torvehallerne, apparently the best in the city right now according to some reviewers. It was truly delicious! We hope to come back some time. Richard

Clean flat that makes you feel at home in Copenhagen. The flat is ideal for 2/3 people visting Copenhagen a long weekend. Located just outside the touristic part of Copenhagen, the flat is well communicated with the city center by bus (10 minutes drive until Tivoli). The owner provided us some useful tips on how to reach the flat by public transport which was very easy (metro and bus). The flat was clean, modernly decorated and had all we would have expected, but I must admit that we spent very little time in the flat. By the flat is also equipped with WIFI and a flat screen TV. We also counted 3 supermarkets with 100 meter distance. The neighbourhood is very calm and safe. We felt at home during our stay!

The accommodation was comfortable and had all we needed, there was a Supermarket close by which had food, wine and beer. There is no need to get a taxi from airport it is simple to get Metro make one change and then only have 700m of easy flat walking to the apartment. it is 5mins into the city. Would recommend a trip to Malmo over the Bridge. Although the weather was not at its best we had a really good time and would recommend both Copenhagen and the apartment. Communication with owner was excellent and it was easy to find and get the keys

Pleasant apartment within walking distance of the city centre. Excellent accommodation just outside Copenhagen city centre but easily accessible either on foot (about 20 minutes) or bike, or there is a Metro stop just over the road which gets you into the centre in about 5 minutes and which also links to the airport in about ten minutes. We were a couple and a teenage boy, but you could sleep four if you also had a younger child. Our host was frendly, there when we arrived and back on time to return the deposit and say goodbye. The area itself (Amager) has plenty of shops and restaurants including a delicious bakery at the end of the street and a supermarket next to the Metro. Its close to Christiania which is the semi-autonomous hippy settlement which is interesting if you want to see a different side of the city. Copenhagen itself is easy to get around - once youre in the centre pretty much everything is walkable. The only negative thing is that its fairly expensive - but having said that, you can find reasonably priced good food if you do your research.

Lovely apartment in a central location. This apartment is in a very central location making it easy to walk into the city centre and even coming home for a break during a day out. The apartment itself is very clean and tidy with plenty of space for a group of 6. It is light and airy and at night there is very little noise from the street below and none from the neighbours. There was easy communication with the owner before our stay and we were met by a friend at the flat on time on also once we had left to give the keys back - everything was well organised. Bedding, towels, crockery etc were all provided meaning we only had to take minimal belongings with us. We would definitely come and stay in this apartment again!

An excellent alternative to hotels. The apartment lives up to its description. Large, bright, clean and well laid out. Had no problems finding it and owners representative was waiting for us. The apartment overlooks both the street ( quiet ) and and inner courtyard shared with other buildings.Central location is terrific. You can walk downtown. Grocery stores and restaurants were an easy walk. The only issue ( and a small one ) was that the locks require a deft touch with the keys. An oasis in the middle of Copenhagen.. This is a beautiful apartment and I believe the photos dont do it justice. It was perfect for us with 2 children. Owner couldnt have been more accommodating. She had lots of suggestions on where to go with the children. We drove to Legoland in Billund too and that visit was amazing. This flat is stylish and is in a very safe and upmarket area about 10 mins walk to the metro with connections to the airport and central Copenhagen. There are lovely parks nearby and the best bakery downstairs. We even walked to the little mermaid from here. It was a distance but we saw some lovely sights along the way. Owner was a gracious and lovely host. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this apartment.

We were there for a competition that was in Amager, which is why I booked an apartment away from downtown Copenhagen. Owner was really responsive throughout the booking and staying process. We ended up staying in the apartment on the floor above the one we actually booked due to a repair issue, and the apartment was just fine. The apartment was spacious with an open design. We used the kitchen three times to make meals, and it had olive oil, salt and pepper that we could use. The bedroom was slightly small, but since we were only in there when we were sleeping, it wasnt a problem for us. The apartment had huge doors that opened up to allow fresh air in, which was perfect because we had gorgeous weather during our stay. The apartment was about a 10-min walk to either DR Byen or Amagerbro metro, and it was also close to Amagerbrogade and the 5A bus line that ran into the city in one direction and the airport in the other direction. There is not much food options in the immediate area, but if you walked 10-15 mins into Amager, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The train from Hellerup Station goes dircetly to the Airport. As for amenities in the aparmtent, this was probably the first time that we didnot had to buy some small things missing, everything was already there! Excellent shopping opportuniites in the near neighborhood. And to top it all, a very nice and helpful host. Highly recommended.

A fabulous apartment in a quiet little street!. This apartment is in a quiet little street (Wiedeweltsgade) outside of the central part of Copenhagen but very close to a number of important sites. Buses 14 and 40 stop at the end of the street, the latter going into town and to the central railway station. To get your bearings, it takes 25 minutes to walk to the Round Tower (Rundetaarn), though a bus is easier! There are some very good eateries also at the end of the street. Make sure you have coffee and cake at Emmerys - just fabulous. For some good wholesome basic Danish fare try eating at the Restaurant Under Uret, just around the corner. The apartment was ideal for us (two adults and a nine year old). The two bedrooms are in the basement but both rooms have natural light and windows that open. There is a foldout bed for more guests but it means setting up in the living room, which would make the apartment very crowded indeed. Access to the bedrooms is via a very narrow and steep set of stairs. Not suitable for those with heavy suitcases or bags or for those getting on in years. This will be an important consideration for some wanting to stay. The WiFi was excellent during our stay and it puts many five star establishments to shame. There is a TV with cable TV but everything appeared to be in Danish. The kitchen has the basics if you want to eat in but dont expect to cook anything too fancy. There is a dishwasher. The apartment was spotless and there was plenty of space to sit around plan your adventures. The bathroom and the toilet are in the same room, and my only real criticism is that towels are really on their last legs. But in the scheme of things, that is pretty minor. In warmer times there is an outside space for a drink and there is a BBQ.

Great location, great apartment and accommodating host. When we first arrived we were coming in very late from the airport. We were met by Owner, a student, who took the rest of the rent as well as a deposit. The apartment is lovely with a nice open living space, a bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen island is great for breakfast as well as for cooking dinner. The bedroom had a comfortable double-bed, and the pull-out sofa was very comfortable, and could easily have fitted more people. The shower took a little long to get warm, but was wonderful once it did, and the rest of the bathroom had a stylish and clean look. The bus (5A) goes past a 4 minute walk from the apartment, and goes both into town as well as out to the airport, which made travel really easy. As our plane was leaving rather late we asked if we could stay in the apartment longer on our last day. There was a gap between leases we were able to stay as long as we wanted. Not having to pull our luggage around all day was great, especially since the big shopping centers are open on Sundays as well! All in all we had a wonderful time, and are very grateful that we got to stay here.

Beautiful apartment in perfect tourist area with good transportation nearby. Arriving at the address we were transported into a quiet courtyard paved in old cobblestone. It was magic to be in our own semi secluded environment in a beautiful apartment. Everything was clean, new and well kept. The website does not do justice to how nice the apartment really is. Entering the ground floor apartment is into a small hall from where you can go into the bathroom or the main room. The main room is very large with many windows. The main room contains the living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room area has a sofa bed, two chairs, coffee table and two end tables, TV and sound system, the dining area has a good size table with six chairs, the kitchen has a all up to date and upgraded appliances except there is no microwave. The lighting can be improved in living room area in order to read. The bedroom is ample size with a double (queen size actually) bed. The room has a small, high window for ventilation. The only comments about this room is that there are no bedside tables and the lighting could be better. The bathroom is located across the main room so a short trip is required at night. The bathroom has a good size shower, toilet, sink and stacked washer and dryer. Soap for washer is supplied. Instructions for all appliances need to be reviewed and rewritten in English. As with most instructions from appliance makers, they make NO SENSE. I highly recommend this apartment for a place to stay when visiting Copenhagen. I will book this when we return to the lovely, vibrant and colorful city of Copenhagen.

Ideal. Stayed for 2 nights with partner plus 4 friends. We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs: good location, spacious, comfy- everything you need really. Foosball table was a great bonus, and the fixtures - fridge, oven, dishwasher etc were all solid and in working order. It is close to a Fotex supermarket and there is also a fantastically cosy bar around the corner called Duck & Cover, which is always a bonus. The only blemish of note was the lack of curtains- others have noticed this and I have to agree. A couple of sky-light blinds for the bedrooms would be a good starting point. Otherwise it was excellent, and Søren was very helpful and friendly.

Homely feel. Great accommodation with easy access to city centre. House is situated in a quiet area with a small shopping centre 10 mins walk away. The subway to the city centre runs ever 10 mins and it is only a 12 mins journey. The house is spacious with living room, office, dining room and kitchen. We were allowed to use all the facilities,even the stocks in the cupboard which came in handy. There was also free wifi access Definitely would recommend you use it.

The place had 2 floors with the main floor being the sole bathroom and kitchen and upstairs having the Queen bedroom and two twins bedroom and TV room. The unit faces onto an inner courtyard that is shared with a few offices. Privacy wasnt an issue as the workers were gone by 6pm and only present on weekdays. We stayed 5 days, and enjoyed how quiet, warm and comfortable the unit was. It had everything. We did see the shared pay washer/drier room in the courtyard. We never used it, but it is there. Wed stay again if we end up in Copenhagen, again. Very close to Tivoli and the Main Copenhagen Train Station.

However, what makes it fantastic value is its brilliant location right in the heart of the city. Right on your doorstep you have some of the best stores and restaurants in Copenhagen. The owners are very accommodating and their recommendations were so useful. Even though we were right in the centre of town, we had no problems with the sound and our 9-month old baby slept peacefully throughout the night. Ideal location & plenty of space. This apartment was the perfect location from which to explore Copenhagen on foot. Just steps away from the Stroget & the Round Tower. An easy 5 min. walk to the metro, 10 or 15 min. walk to the central train station and Tivoli. Very close to the University, there are many coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the neighborhood. We loved the colorful and cozy apartment, plenty of space for our family of four (including two teenagers). Lots of character and personality, with many large pieces of original artwork by the owner filling the walls (and available for sale!) Kitchen is well stocked with pots & pans, plates & utensils, refrigerator, washer & dryer. Towels, sheets, laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, etc. all provided. Nice big sitting area with couches and TV, comfortable soft beds & warm down comforters. The building is older so you can hear neighbors slamming doors and going up and down the stairs, and voices and occasional traffic from the street carry as well (especially on weekend nights when students are heading home from the bars) so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall, this was a super bargain for the space and the location, we loved it!

Fantastic Apartment, brilliantly located.. You couldnt really ask for more with this apartment, directly located of Nyhavn there are plenty of decent restaurants for lunch/dinner and as the Danish were getting ready for Christmas there was a lovely christmas market and Glühwein available from almost every restaurant. Best location to explore Copenhagen and a great flat to boot. Roomy flat that dates from the 1800s is cozy and comfortable. The three of us went to visit our son who studies at Copenhagen University and their flat was near perfect. Located a block from the Round Tower and near Copenhagens best shopping and cafes. The flat is filled amazing artwork, which is for sale. I brought a piece home to add to my art collection and I can always be reminded of our stay. We had breakfast in the flat all mornings and the kitchen has everything youd need to prepare simple but good meals. Many grocery options near by. Metro station is a 5 minute walk from the flat. It took us 1/2 hour to get to the airport with a fair amount of luggage.

We spent NYE in Tivoli Gardens which was a unique experience, as where the street celebrations and fireworks!! The apartment had everything you could want. We will surely come back - in summer. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was small, but did not miss anything - we had WIFI, a dishwasher and even some coffee for the first breakfast after arriving late the night before! Special thanks to our hosts who were supportive from the very beginning and ignored our noisy children play. Our kids especially liked the bed under the roof - and the winch to operate the stairs. It felt like part of a fairytale castle. Travelling the city was quite comfortable with public transport as we had Vanlose station at walking distance. Large, lovely, light-filled in great location!. My fiance, my brother, and I just stayed for a long weekend - the apartment was perfect! We arrived in the very early morning from an overseas flight, and Mette was waiting to meet us. She was super-friendly, welcoming, and gave us a lot of good advice on restaurants and places to visit in the area. The apartment is large and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The space is lovely and filled with interesting artwork. We also loved the location. The apartment is located off a quiet courtyard on a very central street. It was extremely easy to get from the airport on the Metro to Norreport station, which is only a few short blocks away walking. It was extremely easy to get around to many places of interest - we walked to almost everything we wanted to see. The neighborhood is great and had cool coffee shops and restaurants to visit. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay again if visting Copenhagen in the future.

Just like home!. Very charming and cosy apartment. Excellent located close to the main centre. Many museums and the main shopping area are in walking distance. The metro and bus station Christianshavn is very close, easy travelling to the main station or the airport. Christianshavn itself is wonderful with its canals, shops and coffee places. We wanted to go on a stroll every evening, but the apartment felt just like home with its spacious kitchen and all the beautiful details, we always stayed there.

Fabulous apartment on outskirts of Copenhagen. I would highly recommend this fabulous apartment to the north of Copenhagen City Centre, the apartment was clean and had all the necessary essentials for a holiday break. There is a small garden down some steps, the owners make you feel very welcome without being intrusive. The apartments are about a 10 minute bus ride from the centre, or you can walk it through a number of parks, which we did with our 5 year old daughter on a regular basis. The area is totally safe, being in a family residential area, and if you get time to get a couple of bicycles then the amount of cycle lanes means you can easily get about at low cost.

The location was superb for all amenities and near to all interesting places/restaurants/bars/shops etcetera. The people were very friendly and most could speak good English which was a bonus. The apartment had all the facilities needed for our stay and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Apartment for a weekend in Copenhagen. The location was perfect. Lots of small shops, Bakeries and quirky places to eat within walking distance. Travel to and from the apartment to the airport and the centre of CPH is easy. We walked into the city centre, that was a great way to see the real CPH. Wonderful appartment and a very warm welcome. Even if we arrived after midnight, Owner was kindly waiting for us. He gave us very precise and helpful indications on the best places to buy foods as well as guide books to enjoy our stay in Copenhagen. The apartment is very nice, well located, in a quiet part of Copenhagen, but not very far from the centre. Our 2 kids (included the 15 months girl) really enjoyed the apartment as much as the Lego shop. I will definitely go back to this apartment on the next time Ill come to Copenhagen.

Appartement lumineux très bien situé. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement en mai 2015. Il est très bien situé à proximité du métro et à quelques centaines de mètres des lieux de visite ou du bateau bus. Il est facile de faire des courses à proximité, nous avons même trouvé un bon petit resto très sympa juste à côté et avons loué des vélos dans le quartier. Lappartement est bien fonctionnel (juste un petit problème de serrure quil faudra régler, la porte est un peu difficile à ouvrir tant quon na pas apprivoisé la serrure), une bonne literie et une salle de bain correcte. Il est très clair et les baies vitrées ouvrent sur un square avec des jeux pour les enfants, cest très sympa et on a limpression dêtre au coeur de la vie danoise. Nous avons trouvé un bon accueil simple et cordial sans aucun problème. A recommander.

very generous + cosy, caring landlords, good location, clean and quiet. We had a very friendly welcome on arrival and were amazed when owner mentioned she had to get new mattresses because despite a smoking ban, the previous couple were smokers. She was worried they might be too hard for us but they were perfect and we slept very well. We had lots of beverages to choose from, kitchen and bathroom facilities were faultless. The only minor objection is that there was a curtain at the velux window instead of a blind. Useful secure space for storing hired bicycles and a range of local food shops.

Very nice appartment, with a child playground nearby. The appartment is very nice. We enjoyed the stay. The bus station is just a five minutes walk away and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Copenhagen main station or Tivoli. If you need to buy some food or beverages, no problem, there is a shop just around the corner, where you can get what you need. Since restaurants a quite expensive in Copenhagen, cooking yourself is a good option to keep the expenses to an acceptable limit. There is a playground for children in front of the building and Copenhagen Zoo is just a few bus stops away (you can even walk, if you want).

Perfect couples get-a-way apartment in a trendy area of Copenhagen. My husband and I stayed here in May 2015 for three nights. With a good map, it is easy to find from the central train station, walkable if you have minimal luggage. There is a new metro station under construction in the neighborhood which might confuse those arriving by car and seeking parking. We were met at the apartment by the lovely owners, who are so helpful and willing to make your stay comfortable. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was perfect with a nice city-scape view. The living area was spacious and comfortable. The bedroom had a decent bed and a desk, and included the only tiny bathroom in the flat. The only negative thing to say about the place is the small bathroom, with an uncomfortable standing shower, but my husband and I are easy going travellers, so this might only be a concern of those seeking a nice bath at the end of a day of sightseeing, or if more than 2 will be sharing the apartment. The neighborhood is young and hipster-ish, and there are several new bars and restaurants to choose from. We rented bikes from the shop around the cornern, really the best way to sighsee around Copenhagen. Totally recommended as a home base in this lovely city.

One of our best vacation stays ever.. We arrived in the house in copenhagen to a warm welcome from the owners. They thoroughly discussed everything that we need to know about staying in the house and they even had a handbook ready ! :-). Owner gave us good pointers on what to see around town and how to go around. The house itself is very cozy and spacious. Everything is as mentioned in the website. Its a few minutes walk to the train station, bus stop and the neighborhood netto store. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back .

Excellent apartment for a large family. I booked this apartment for my family (6 people) visiting me. Our host welcomed us at our arrival and explained us where to find everything in the flat and the area around the house. She was also very flexible with our arrival and departure time, which was very kind and helpful. The two separate bedrooms and and the large living room with space for another two people were very spacious and made our stay very comfortable. Also the kitchen was big enough to accommodate 8 persons in it, so that you can easily spend the evening dining in a group. Overall, the apartment is equipped with everything you desire and placed in a wonderful area of the town. I will for sure rebook the apartment the next time.

Perfect for a couple, convenient location, kind landlord. The landlord, was welcoming and helpful, and speaks perfect English (like most Danes). We loved everything about the apartment. Its small, but is the right size for a couple, and perhaps a small child. Theres a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room (with another bed), and a bathroom. The bedroom and kitchen look out over a charming, quiet courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped except, oddly, for a microwave. Maybe there is one, though, and its just so Danish we didnt recognize it. Everything is sparklingly clean. Even the floors are white (so take off your shoes!). The shower is small, and may take a little getting used to, for Americans, but I found it all eminently practical. There are several great cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores within a block or two. There are excellent bike-rental facilities nearby. We used, and recommend, Bisikeli. With a bike, all major Copenhagen attractions are within an easy ten-minute ride. Its easy to rent a bike for a week, and just park it in the apartments bike parking area. The apartment provides no off-street car parking, and on-street parking is rare and expensive. If possible, DO NOT rent a car in Copenhagen. Do what the great majority of Copenhagen residents do, and ride bikes. Physically-separated bike lanes make it safe and fun, and the city is almost completely flat. Note that its what Americans would call a third-floor walk-up. Theres no elevator, so if theres a problem with stairs, this may not be a good fit.

This is a perfect spot in an excellent location. I rented this apartment for myself, my dad and my niece. It was perfect for our needs. The apartment was located close to the major things we wished to see but in a quiet area of the city that gave us the down time that we needed after a long day. The apartment entrance is right on Nyhavn, but so quiet because of the pretty courtyard surrounding the property.The apartment had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. It was the best place of our trip - location, quality of accommodation and amenities were outstanding. Opened the front door and the whole family fell in love with the place. We were travelling with our 2 boys (aged 16 and 6 yrs) they loved their separate rooms, both well equipped with play stations and games (Fifa 15 and Lego Batman were no 1 on their hit list). The apartment was what you would expect from Copenhagen (great quality, very modern and everything worked) - the wifi worked brilliantly and we were even able to watch our netflix movies through the tv (as they had a chromecast). The communal gardens were fantastic and my youngest made friends with the kids in the neighbourhood within the first day and played playstation together in the evenings. The location was perfect - my husband and I were able to stroll around the corner to great bistros and bars in the evening and during the day we easily walked into the city with the kids along the canal and over the bridge. I would definitely recommend to friends and would love to return to the same apartment every year.

Designer apartment in fabulous location. Great trip to Copenhagen with the family - three teenagers and two adults. Apartment very centrally located, above café (which in itself does superb meals - check out Sebastopol café). Centrally located square in northern Copenhagen, but the city is so compact that it was within walking distance of everywhere.Apartment itself is light and bright, nicely laid out, with all the amenities youd expect. A very friendly welcome from the owner, and advice available pre-trip if asked for. A personal welcome tour of the facilities was comprehensive. Telephone number and email supplied in case of problems. The apartment is well equipped, with all the usual things, plus a good choice of kitchen appliances etc. Nice bathroom (with only toilet in it, so some planning required). Oven, hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, kettle (no toaster?), lots of plates, glasses, other stuff to hand. Washer and separate dryer located in bathroom. Supermarkets are local, and although the prices for some basics (milk, bread etc), are reputed to be pricey, if you shop around, the prices are comparable to the UK. We recommend Netto just round the corner as the place that most nearly matches the UK experience. The great thing about Copenhagen though is that there are plenty of convenience shops (Seven-Eleven) on just about every corner, but also fruit and vegetable shops and bakeries closeby too.The square is a venue for the jazz festival, which takes place in July, and we were there during this. If you have young children and want their sleeping to be quiet, there is no noise from it at the back of the apartment - two rooms available. However, although a noisy performance was in full flow when we arrived at 5pm, these do not go on late into the night, and finish around 8pm or so. This has been mentioned by other reviewers, but honestly, we did not find this at all disturbing. All in all, a fabulous holiday in a very nice, conveniently located apartment. Walking distance from almost anywhere although there is a taxi rank immediately outside. Plenty to see and do, and highly recommended for families with older children. We gave our teens quite a bit of freedom once they had learned some navigation and it seems to be a very safe place to let them explore for themselves too. This was our first experience of renting accommodation through TripAdvisor, and we were a little nervous about what the experience would be like. However, we will definitely do this again. We thought that this was much preferable to hotel staying, as it gave a really local flavour to our stay.

A great appartment in a wonderfull neighbourhood in a vibrant city. We travelled by car to Copenhagen, to stay there for a week. We are a family of 4, children 22 and 18. On arrival we could pick up the keys at the cafe .After getting the luggage in the appartment we took the car to the area close by ,for free parking. The information we got from the owner was very helpfull. All our questions were quickley answered by mail. The appartment is very well equipped. The bed in the second bedroom is a bit small for 2 adult persons , and to sleep on the airbed , although a good one , for a week is a bit long.The appartment is in the very nice Norrebro, close to everything the city has to offer. We rented a bike for the whole week . So we have seen all the sights , terrasses , parks , history , swimmingpool in wonderfull sunny wheather!

Wonderful Stay. What a beautiful apartment, convenient for getting into the city but far enough away to avoid the tourist bustle. The apartment is clean and bright and suited us perfectly with two teenagers. Wifi and Apple TV definitely help! The owner provided easy to follow instructions how to find the apartment and where to collect the keys and responded to any queries we had promptly. The apartment is up on the fourth floor so a few stairs to climb to get there but this wasnt a problem for us although after a day of walking your heart does sink a little with the thought of it ;) There are not curtains in all bedrooms which didnt bother us but may be an issue for some. The space and decor in the apartment is perfect. Copenhagen was wonderful lots of walking and cycling. Cycling was great the priorities for the street are definitely better than the uk, pedestrians, cyclists then cars made you feel safe on the roads, without the irritable drivers of England! Food is expensive but no complaints as all our meals out were wonderful. Would recommend Kodbyens fiskebarren in the meat packing district for a special meal. Expensive but worth it especially without the teenagers! We cycled everywhere and went to the aquarium Den Bla Planet. I think for a younger family as well, Copenhagen would be a great place to go as there is much to do there for all age groups. The area felt safe and we were happy letting the teenagers do their own thing within reason. There are obviously busy tourist spots in the city but get off the main routes and it is far less busy. Would definitely recommend the apartment and Copenhagen for a long break. A wonderful time had by all and if you can keep 17 year olds happy while away that is definitely a bonus!
